South African artists Caitlin Mkhasibe and Frank Lunar will be showing and selling illustrations and clothes illustrations at this year's Open Book Comics Fest!

Caitlin Mkhasibe is a Cape Town based independent illustrator, clothes illustrator and drummer/percussionist as part of the audio-visual ensemble Morning Pages. Her work honours an alignment to nature (which she considers to be truth) and has a respect for animals. This is reflected in the imagery of her work and the philosophy she holds regarding her journey in finding or creating alternative materials that lessen the negative impact on resources. She been drumming for 10 years and imagining artistic talismans since she was a child.
Frank Lunar is a graphic designer, specialising in illustration, children’s book creation, comic books, story boards and occasional drawing lessons. Other freelance work includes social media marketing (content and imagery), blog writing and corporate identities.
