I’m interested in the face as if it was an identity mirror: the human being needs "the other self" in order to be able to recognize himself and create a concept of himself. It is not possible to articulate an identification relation without an equal image (mirror) in which they can reflect themselves; throughout the other self-concept, the real being can be explained and this is assigned through the other. This way the portrait can be articulated as a conscience identity and creator of knowledge based on recognition.

The stress in the model individual characteristics and the investigation of their emotional expressions, take us to images full of emotions and symbols that entail the search of internal psychology. In the personification idea, we can find an experience of the artist that portrays the model (that explores and analyses); creating a union between both (artist and object), that in a congenital way, creates an establishment of a relation between the human psyche and the artistic object state.
