My work explores collaborative practices by engaging directly with the public. My interest in challenging the communicative binary of artist intent and audience interpretation stems from a desire to unite individuals through my artwork. The For Me / For You platform is a platform in which I collaborate with the public through submission-based performance proposals. The performances developed out of selected submissions take imagery and inspiration from the submissions to create a final product. At the root of my practice is the desire to produce a reciprocal expression of my and my audience’s interests through the intimate act of exchange.
