Marlen Hernández is a visual artist and aspiring author, whose main love is to ‘create worlds’. She was born on April 23, 1994, in the bordering city of Tijuana, Mexico. Since she was very young she was interested in the arts, claiming at around five years old that she ‘wanted to own a book store where all the books I sell all are drawn by me’, although a little later her big dream was to travel in a rock band.  She has studied art since childhood through a wide array of basic painting, art and music classes, and is currently studying Visual Arts at 'Escuela Superior de Artes Visuales', in Tijuana, Mexico.
Although still trying to find her medium, her main goal is to create comic books and animations and write novels.
