Born and raised amid the ancient and progressive cultures of Santa Fe, N.M., with summers spent in the small, conservative New England seashore town of Bellport, Long Island, N.Y., I am now 21 years old.  For most of these years, I have enjoyed living in an active, creative, fun and loving family environment with my Dad, my older brother, Michael, and my twin sister, Sarah.  Currently I attend Guilford College, a small liberal arts college in Greensboro, N.C. where I am pursuing a BFA with a focus on printmaking. My natural talent for drawing was acknowledged at a young age and I've been inspired to express myself artistically since then.  In 2003 and 2004, I was fortunate to be selected to participate in my first formal training, The Georgia O'Keefe Art and Leadership Program.  Perhaps the two most influential experiences I have had to date were through my participation in the semester art programs at The Oxbow School, Napa, CA in 2008 and the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, Siena, Italy in 2010. The majority of my work is comprised of drawing, painting, printing and more recently ceramics.  Inspired by themes related to science, social & environmental justice and world peace, I feel that my art explores possibilities for deeper, more purposeful connection to self and the world.
