Writer. Editor. Activist.
I’ve always been interested in other peoples stories, and until recently — did very little to capture my own. That changed when I created, visualliteracy.me. By definition, "visual literacy is the ability to interpret, negotiate, and make meaning from information presented in the form of an image, extending the meaning of literacy, which commonly signifies interpretation of..."

In this chapter of my life, I am in search of who I am, who you are, and why our universes decided to collide. I’ve processed life through a number of mediums including writing, film editing, and photography.

Through mixed media, I seek to genuinely understand complex topics without judgment, and stigma. I am interested in all of the many versions of the “truth” that comprise our shared reality.

I started a series around women of color and their transformational healing practices. I want to continue telling stories that allow women of color to take up space in this lifetime. Other peoples "reality" fascinates me, and the idea that they’ve included my reality within their personal reality and vice versa is directly linked to universal alignment. My tribe is a constellation.

I feel honored to share the same space and time. Most of my work is centered around the six tenets on my idea wall, which serves the same purpose as a vision board. These are my compass: writing, the earth, travel, women, healing, and visual art.
