This series of paintings is called Aeroplanes, and is about planes made of paper. When I was a child I liked to make paper planes and play with them. And then I realized that this was a form that I loved and that I could use in my paintings.
When I started to paint, I tried to show the paper plane in different manners and seen from different angles. The paper plane is both a reminder of my childhood and my identity. I hold the paintings subject and just put a paper plane in them.
Flying is my dream. When I see a plane in the sky my mind becomes totally blank
my eyes just see it till disappears. The plane takes all my thoughts and tensions away. I also use geographical maps, which look like clouds, and various shades of blue to create an illusion of sky. When I realize my dream, I will select another form for my paintings.
