Making artwork is a means of expressing gratitude toward the precarious and luring mystery of life.   I am very interested in process and detail, using each image as a kind of visual mantra to direct (and redirect) myself toward ethical progress, compassion, and attention.   My artwork varies in style from scientific illustration, to imaginative comic books, to psychedelic art.   Inspirations include natural form (spending time close to the source, paying attention to the 4 r's: rhythm, relationship, resourcefulness & resilience), Taoism, astronomy, quantum theory, music, & light-heartedness.  I am ardently devoted to learning and exposing myself to novelty.
