My practice disseminates in various niches mainly challenging the public constructs of Time and Memory, where I question and redefine them through the experiential. What constructs an experience and how we are constantly created through our relation with the multiple volatile worlds of others? The immersive temporality of a space, how it moulds a memory and how we perceive each other and the details of our surroundings are embodied in my works. They take various shapes through immersive video-aural installations, film-essay, sound, found objects, artist’s books, ephemeral mediums like kajal, automated-calling system and instruction-based art, among others.
The spheres of psychological, emotional and relational time and memory overlap constantly, where individual as well as collective experiences are formed and elevated through my affective works. The ephemerality of time is made tactile by approaching it through memories.
In my recent works I’ve realized that a possible way to capture different textures of time and memory is by moving away from the tangible mediums of art. It is materialized by accumulating experiences and inserting memories in other’s lives by creating events through instructions; instruction being an intangible medium of provocation. Can the thin line between art and life be transgressed? How can art be purely experiential and become one with our daily life experiences?

Currently, living between Vadodara and Delhi, India.
