    Is your work at all influenced by written language? The shadows and figures look like they could have been derived from Pasto or Dari. I love the play on shadows.
    To me it's reminiscent of finding what is not incomplete, for example in your childhood recollections of the civil war. There is an air of deconstruction and conflict in the sharp edges of the characters.

      yes Language and archive text/historical text have been playing a major role in making these photographic works. These words were carved out of Persian/Dari historical books such as the Book of Kings, Afghanistan History ....
