my work is figurative, with realistic representations of humans, mainly being portraits, alongside which i have merged abstracted bird forms. I wanted the focus to be on the figures themselves, whilst bing slightly obscured by these bird inspired forms.The formations surrounding the figures in flocks are conveying the force of nature, however, in a quiet and tranquil manner

Lenina shook her head.

repeated slowly and, sighing, was silent for a moment;
then, taking Fanny's hand, gave it a little squeeze.
