Carmin Alizarina works with the absence and the body. She is engaged in any of a broad spectrum of activities related to creating art and questioning the medium. From installation, performance and videoart to engraving or drawings. She wants to explain the union between soul and body by an experimental way. In her artworks there are a lot of philosophy and literary references and her objetive is always introducing the Idea as something which representation is possible. Born in 1992 in a little town of Andalucía, Spain, she attended the Graduate program in Fine Arts in Sevilla. In 2012 she was invited to the Université Paris8, Paris, France, where she studied philosophy of art. There, she started to exploring textil art and installation. Now she lives in Berlin where she works in her new photo-installation project called 'Schlafzimmer'.
