In all my paintings, I am referring to a woman who is chaotic, and vulnerable in her own self; naked because there is no layering in her thoughts. Which gives the viewer an experience that is unsettling, jolting.
My work is being documented when I am having depression. The plethora of emotions I encounter has become inadvertently the concept of my paintings.
I like to fill my paintings with the things people go through, the struggle, extreme emotions, and how you look normal but have ample amount of pain inside. The war is yours and only yours to fight and possibly win.
I hope with my work I can make the viewer be aware of mental illness and wish them to understand the struggle one faces.
