Emergent Art Space is inviting young artists (below the age of 28) living or studying in the Tijuana - San Diego area to submit their work to be considered as part of an exhibition at the Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura (IMAC) in Tijuana. The work will be shown alongside a selection of contemporary works from an international group of emerging artists from June 13th through July 11th.

We are looking for works that creatively respond to the theme Crossing Borders and demonstrate artistry in the chosen medium.

All mediums are welcome and a maximum of 2 works will be considered.  NO ENTRY FEE

Deadline: April 30th 2014

The work will be selected by two artists, educators, and curators from the Tijuana - San Diego area.

Emergent Art Space (EAS) invita a solicitantes menores de 28, viviendo o estudiando en Tijuana y/o San Diego a enviar solicitudes con ejemplos para consideración en la próxima exposición, Crossing Borders: Tijuana. Obras seleccionadas serán exhibidas desde el 13 de Junio del 2014 hasta el 11 de Julio junto con una selección contemporánea de obras hechas por artistas emergentes de diferentes partes del mundo.

The work will be shown alongside a selection of contemporary works from an international group of emerging artists from June 13th through July 11th. Obras deberán demonstrar competencia en su medio y responder creativamente al tema de Cruzando Fronteras.

Toda forma de arte visual es bienvenida. Limite de dos obras por solicitud. Cuota de Inscripción: GRATIS!

Obras serán seleccionadas por un jurado compuesto de artistas, educadores, y curadores de la region Tijuana - San Diego. Limite de dos obras por solicitud.
