Hi Einat, Thanks for sharing about your ideas of conflicts and barriers. For me, as a photographer, I see the struggle of light and shadow to be most conflicting. In order to have highlights in a photograph, there must be darkness. Darkness is often hard to accept because it represents something that is hidden, covered, and mysterious. But it is this darkness that makes any image, photo or painting, appealing and thought-provoking.

Also, I had never thought of a swan as androgynous, but now I can really see it in your work. Very interesting!
